WordPress Permalinks 404 on GoDaddy

Searching Google for solutions to this oddball problem didn’t seem too helpful unless you spent quite a bit of time looking into it or are tech savvy enough to decode what most people are saying about WordPress permalink issues on GoDaddy hosting.

So maybe this post will help, as this was the only solution I found that actually solved my issue.

I had a fresh install of WordPress on a GoDaddy hosting account and encountered an issue where internal links weren’t working, and only taking me to a GoDaddy 404 page.

A really old post on the WordPress support forums led me to try overriding their 404 page via .htaccess. It worked!

Assuming you have no changes to your .htaccess file and are having this issue, you might try replacing your htaccess with the following:

Then re-save your WordPress Permalinks and hopefully.. voila! If further difficulties occur, refer to the best website design company, they are sure to find the solution.
